Escalante Valley Elementary

Keeping our school’s academic goals in mind as we strive to set the Gold Standard, this year we plan to incorporate more opportunities for students to learn, review and explore math concepts.  We anticipate reaching our math goals by providing high levels of classroom instruction and playing math games twice per month to review past concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and strengthen positive peer relationships.  Once games have been taught, students will have the opportunity to check them out and play with their family at home.  When games are returned students’ names will be put into a drawing for quarterly math game giveaways.  We are excited to see how this new addition to learning will strengthen our school and student learning.
