Our 3rd graders enjoyed a class presentation from Thanksgiving Point, where they observed a beetle and mealworm through a magnifying lens. Students worked in pairs to compare and contrast the two objects and determine differences. By the end of the presentation students were able to draw and label the life cycle of each of the objects presented to them.
